PD...

PD (puppa dog) 

had a vet appointment today.

She had a blood test for the pills she is taking to make sure there are no side effects. The good news, the results were good and she is able to continue her meds for 6 more months.

The bad news, she has another ear infection.

Back on the ear drops, once a day for 30 days, with weekly ear cleanings.

She gets herself so worked up on the ride to the vet. She never really liked riding in the car. 

On the way back home, she got in the back seat and laid down for the short ride home. 

All is good when you know you are on your way back home...

Man looks after 140 stray dogs...

Beamer...

The Good News... The Bad News...

Well today was the day for Beamer to go in to the vet for all of the yearly updates on his shots.

I think today was his first time riding inside the truck. We put the big dogs in their travel creates for most trips. But, today i let him ride inside with me. Well, let's just say that didn't go so well. He was shaking the hole way to and from the vet, sitting in the front seat. I guess the good news is it wasn't a very long trip. Only about 15 min's each way.

We got to the vet, out of the truck and he enjoyed everything about his vet visit. His tail wagging and enjoying all of the attention at the vets office, dog treats for everyone...

The Bad News...

He got all of his shots updated and the blood test came back positive for "Lymes" diesase.

With that news... he will be on antibiotics for the next 30 days with a retest scheduled.

Back home and all back to normal with all of his big dog buddies. A bathroom break outside, running behind the shed, peaking out to see if i am watching and me telling him to stop eating dirt. 

yep... another day of "Just Being A Dog"...
