new pens all around...

some time ago i stopped by lowes to pick up something for the yard in the outside department when i noticed that they had a pile of dog pen sections piled on the the floor. taking a closer look you could see that some parts were missing and a bump, dent here and there. i ask the sales person the price for the entire pile? the manager came over and after a clear understanding about the pile was not new, i was loading up my truck with dog pens. well i finally got around to putting them up. 3 days later and a lot of working things out on spare parts, the doggies have new pens up. the new sections gave each dog more room and a little less for me to put stuff. rocco and luke continue going to the wrong pen door, but they will get use to the new set up with a little more time. everyone seems to be adjusting well. so i think we will keep the new set p for now...    

PD ear update...

well it's been two weeks since pd went to the vet for ear issues. we have been using the medicine twice a day for two weeks now. pd's ears look so much better. when we clean them now, just a very little dis-coloring. what a huge relief. we have medicine for about two more days. we will need to call the vet for a follow-up to see where we go from here. big smiles all around for our little baby puppa dog...

Luke Annual Vet Checkup...

luke always loves a good ride in the truck. he sits up and tries hard to keep his nose close to the window. as i am driving down the road, i will look over at luke and a big smile comes out. we took little lukeeee to the vet on thursday. he got all of his shots updated and blood tests submitted for review. the only issue this visit was a lump that has appeared on his right shoulder area. the vet took a quick sample and the close look in the microscope showed that the sample taken was just fat tissue. the vet suggest we do a biopsy to ensure all is good.
