Tornado?
wow, what a long night. tornado warnings and two spotted in our area over night. one tornado was just to the west of us about 4 miles. the second one was to the east of us about 2 miles. so as you might imagine, the emergency drill got a real life test last night. once the emergency weather monitor went off around 11:00 pm and our daughter made sure we knew about the tornado warning we put our emergency dog plan in to effect. we got all of the dogs out of their pens and down to the basement creates safe area. all went well with only rocco having a wetting accident. a few news papers later and we got the mess cleaned up. luckily our power never went off and the ac kept pumping out the cool air on this very humid night. well with all this going on i ended staying up all night. got everything put back up and found a few things we need to change in our plan before the next emergency. all of our dogs are now sleeping after a long nights adventure. sounds like a good idea for me...
Bath Day....
O...NO... Bath Day....
as you might have gathered, bath day is not very popular at all. P.D., Miss Daisy and Sassy Doo got baths today. I am officially on the BAD list. well at least for these three right now. but hey, the fresh scent of lavender seems to do a little calming trick. all three are now wagging tails back at me...

TGIF... rainy, cool in the 50's kind of day. but hey, i'm still the dogs hero of the day today. want to guess why? remember? today is friday dog canned food day. nothing like seeing all of our dogs heads in their food pans and not a bark to be heard. wow, enjoying this while it lasts...
